Project Overview
Seguro is a luxury ride-sharing app in Las Vegas, targeting high rollers and VIPs with a need for both opulence and safety. Distinguishing itself from the likes of Uber and Lyft, Seguro provides exclusive transport in premium vehicles such as Rolls Royce, Mercedes, and BMW, paired with a unique protective service. Each ride features a two-person team—a driver and a protector—to ensure passengers' safety and comfort, extending from point A to their exact destination. The app's elegant design, with its gold, black, and white color scheme, mirrors the luxury and security Seguro promises. By blending high-end transportation with unparalleled personal security, Seguro aims to redefine luxury travel in a city known for its high stakes.
My Role
In the Seguro project, my role was multifaceted, encompassing the entirety of the UI/UX and brand identity design. I spearheaded the creation of Seguro's visual identity, designed the user interface to ensure an intuitive and premium user experience, and conducted comprehensive research to inform our design decisions and understand our target market. My responsibilities were critical in defining the app's positioning as a luxury, secure ride-sharing service for Las Vegas's high rollers and VIPs.
My Process
I began by thoroughly researching the market and user needs for Seguro, setting a strategic foundation for the app's goals, which informed the ideation and visual design phases, including logo creation, wireframing, and prototyping. Utilizing tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, and Miro, I iteratively refined the UI/UX based on user testing and feedback, ensuring the final design epitomized luxury and security.

User Research Summarized
Qualitative Research
Findings show users value privacy, security and comfort above cost. The target audience would prefer Seguro over traditional services like Uber and Lyft due to the promise of enhanced personal security and luxury. The availability of high-end vehicles and additional services as personal escorts to their destination are the most significant factor.
Design Expectations
Users are accustomed to luxury services reflecting sophistication and elegance. A clean, intuitive design with a color scheme of black, white, and gold signal exclusivity and premium quality. The app should also offer a seamless booking experience, with intuitive navigation and minimal steps to reserve a ride. Familiarity with borrowed designs from Uber and Lyft will help to keep the user flow seamless. Seguro will differentiate in design elements and its unique features above all else.
Security & Privacy
High-end users express strong preferences for security measures, Showcasing who their safety lies in the hands of quickly giving them the option to decide who they want protecting them. For example, showcasing John Doe | Ex Marine | 8+ Years in Protective services | and a star rating for their previous rides.
